« Jugend und Wirtschaft » is a newspaper project for school education, which was launched by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z.) and the Federal Association of German Banks. Since the beginning in the year 2000 about 60 schools participate annually.
During the project, which extends over a school year, all participating students and teachers receive a free subscription from F.A.Z. The whole class or course will work in class with the newspaper during the school year, with a special focus on the business section. The students read and analyze the articles of the daily newspaper and publish their own reports.
